JD stared at Ean incredulously. “Dude,” he said, “I’ve been mailing you top-secret weapons schematics for, like, the past three years. I figured you would’ve at least made the explosive-spike launching rail gun by now.”

Ean stared back, his jaw slack with shock. “JD…I haven’t heard anything from you since you joined the army.”

JD frowned. “There is no way I got your address wrong,” he said. “Shoot, you live across the street from me. I know I sent ’em to the right place.”

Ean took a deep breath and then let it out slowly. “JD,” he said, “I’ve been at college – or here – for the past six years. You’ve been mailing top-secret weapons schematics to my mom.”

“Duuuuude…” JD said. Then he abruptly perked up. “Sweet! Road trip!”
