Book 2, Chapter 005

When Ean got back to his apartment he tossed Fifi into the living room. The demonic Chihuahua promptly scuttled into the kitchen.

From the couch, JD looked up. He paused, listening.

“I thought you went up there to shut him up,” JD said.

“…OOOOOOOOO…!” Lieutz’ rejoicing was dully audible through the intervening floors.

Ean laughed and shrugged haphazardly. “So did I!” he exclaimed.

“…OOOOOOOOO…!” Lieutz continued.

“Riiight,” JD said. “On another note, I just made myself a plate of cookies and a glass of milk and they have both disappeared. So, since she’s your house guest, why don’t you go hunt down Sakura and tell her that stealing another man’s snacks is not cool, okay?”
